No, I do not recommend violence in resolving those types of problems. If I were you, I would leave a note inside their mailbox, but keep it anonymous. Somewhere in the note, have a complaint about several neighbors are hearing the loud music, not just yourself.

You could also call the police and file a noise complaint. It can be kept anonymous.
I would probably respond by playing my rock music even louder, directing the sound into their windows when they are sleeping.
But, Gary's answer would work too.
